We served 34 families this week and 129 people. 15 families Wed night and 19 families today. July ended breaking almost double what we served in 2010. July 2010, 61 families and 247 people, July 2011, 111 families and 484 people. YTD 2011 607 families and 2289 people. with 5 months left in the year. 2010 the whole year we served 874 families and 3331 people. Our estimate for the 2011 year looks like we will be over 1000 families and 4 to 5 thousand people. WOW God is amazing and so are all of you who support this ministry.... Thanks, Big V and Debbie G.

Big week in pantry Wed night served 18 families and 67 people, then today we served 19 families and 70 people .... 37 families and 137 people ... Wow God is still bringing them in. Our current data base is up to 670 total families and we are averaging 10 - 15 new families per week. Continue to pray that God will continue to bring in the funds to continue this ministry as we pray for increase to minister to our city. Thanks to our ELC staff and families for your support as you are giving to the least of these, He will bring the increase.

Just wanted to update everyone on food pantry 2nd Qtr numbers.
2010 we served 353 families and 1265 individuals
2011 we served 496 families and 1805 individuals
this is a increase of 15% from previous year and has been the same increase we had from 2009 - 2010. Our current data base is up to 670 families entered into our computer system, which gives us a current status of serving 25 - 30 families per week and a average of 80 - 90 individuals per week. Our cost for food purchased from Second Harvest in 2010 was 5005.00 and for 2011 we have already sent 4149.00, this does not include our Woodmans shopping which averages per week expences are around $70.00 per week. We also have been able to reduce some cost by recieving free food from Community Action Coalition that caculates about $150.00 - $200.00 per week. We would like to thank all those who have contributed money and time we are blessed to have this ministry Reaching Up. Reaching Out and Reaching Madison and Beyond.
