Had a wonderful day as we were praying a little 2 year old boy saw me praying for his Grandpa and after we were done he walked over and held his hand out and wanted to be prayed for..... Wow God moves in the hearts of children even in the food pantry.. Thank you Lord for blessing all those families today.

Please pray for more resources so we can keep blessing these peoples lives as God is breaking through and people are responding.

I also want to Thank God for the 2 lives that have come through our pantry and are attending Journey Class and will be going to Encounter in Feb. Please continue to pray for Brenda and her brother Bryon as they walk from receiving food to receiving spiritual provision as they stay connected to the ministries at ELC.

Our hearts are filled with JOY at how God is moving in our pantry.

Nourishment of Encouragement

Prudent people have a quiet confidence. Insecure or uncertain people feel the need to prove themselves, but prudent people don't have to prove anything. They know they are capable, so they can get on with their work. Beware of showing off or being a "know-it-all." If you are modest, people may not notice you at first, but they will respect you later.

— Galatians 6:2-3 —
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Bread of Life Food Pantry

Served 21 families and 76 people this week.... Thank you God!!!!

In today's world, people most often covet financial gain. Money represents power, influence and success. For many people, money is god. They think about little else. True, money can buy certain comforts and offer some security. But far more valuable than wealth is obedience to God because it is a heavenly treasure rather than an earthly one (Luke 12:33). We should do what God wants, regardless of the financial implications.

Find ways to Bless God's Kingdom and give into God's ministies.

We appreciate your Prayer and support. In Christ Love , Big V and Debbie G.

Nourishment of Encouragement

Believers have the responsibility today of being God's witnesses, telling the world who God is and what he has done. Do people know what God is like through your words and example? They cannot see God directly, but they can see him reflected in you.
